Variety of Recreational Activities
Hollow Point Ranch and its surroundings offer a great variety of recreational activities.
The Kiamichi River frontage stretches for almost 3 full miles along the southern property line before emptying into the nearby Red River. As a result of that proximity, the Kiamichi has some of the best fishing around. It also provides opportunities for kayaking, and river floating. Good fishing can also be found in Gates Creek, which runs year-round thru the property, as well as in the lakes on the property.
1200+ Acres
The 1200+ acres of shared-ownership land is available to all property owners for various recreational activities such as exercising, bicycling, horseback riding or cruising ATV trails. The Hollow Point Tactical Center will be located along the northern property line. It will offer range shooting, archery and skeet. The presence of wild hogs, turkeys and deer on the property may also offer some limited hunting possibilities under controlled conditions.
The Ranch Clubhouse has a fully-equipped fitness center as well as an outdoor pool. And the Riding Center will offer plenty of riding opportunities.
Boating Lakes and Casinos
We are fortunate to be located near two boating lakes. Just a mile north of the Ranch is Lake Raymond Gary and State Park which stretches north to Fort Towson. About 15 minutes further west is the immense Hugo Lake and State Park. It, too, has boating and water-skiing opportunities as well as a marina where residents can keep their boats year-round at a very reasonable cost.
For those looking for a different type of excitement, the town of Grant, just south of Hugo, is home to a Choctaw Indian Casino.
